Bring back the original grand marble?

If it was a new map and not an 'update', then it wouldn't be so bad. Nothing is the same as it was, it should just be a new map.
 
Am i the only one that likes the map? The only two things i dont like about it is that you cant get offtrack anymore but i see why and the boxes in s4s had so many games invented in the last months.
 
Just rename the new one to grand_metamorphosed_limestone.

For this to stay open, it's going to be a collective discussion. Dont bash and throw out the people who have a different opinion. If it's going to be a flame war - we lock it.

Oh well. I'm not naive, I realise that it's most likely never going to come back. It just seems unfair.
 
I've played the map a couple times today, the map is not only more confusing, its only 7minutes long -.- I couldnt even get the T's to have an LR for 3 rounds whilst I was warden (none of the others did too). That was with less than half the server - imagine a full server.

To top it up, you can only have 1 winner from race =/

The entire map feels COMPLETELY different. The only thing I liked about it, was climb and maze. It made good use of the S4S and Cafeteria.

Marbles was nice because it was simple and balanced. My suggestion, keep the original marble map, add the climb and maze. Leave everything else as it is.

If you're going to keep the new marbles, then atleast have the old one up too.
 
Legend or bear, or any advisors/council could you put some input in? Would there be a huge problem sticking marble v2 back in rotation? Like a drain on server resources or something?

Cryptex and I, both decided this would replace v2, Im sorry you dont like it. However, a decisions been reached and its staying as is.

That'd be extremely selfish to hold the map back in my opinion.. it was some of our favorite map, and honestly there would be absolutely NO problem putting it back in rotation.

I'm personally not playing any CSS servers until this is figured out.

Again, Im sorry you feel that way, but again, it has been decided. Most people hate change, some people like it. We cant please everyone, its just not possible. If you feel like not playing on our servers, that's your choice.

Not playing any css servers wont help. But that doesn't stop you from taking a 60min break when the map switches to the new marble :thumbup: Like I do now.

Why fix something that isn't broken? Why have a map when the majority dont want it? Theres already 22 votes against 8 for it to come back.

You can please everyone by bringing marble v2 back into the rotation. This isn't some huge diplomatic issue.. the old map is still on the data servers or however you guys do it. Just switch the number from 0 to 1 and let people vote on it during map votes.
 
why cant both maps be in the rotation?
Meh w/e it doesnt much matter to me, just thought I would add in my 2 cents.

More serious jail map issue: SPYDER, bring it back NAO!
