Well. How is it corrupted?
If it fails at SMART or reports a crapton of bad sectors..Then there's not much you can do. There's recovery programs, but that's not the case.
If it's unmountable(physically or fatally damaged), there's absolutely nothing you can do.
Reformatting a bad sectored hard drive is pointless, as it will fail again in the long run.
