You know, it's amazing how materialistic some chicks can be... right up until they actually have to work for something on their own. LOL
I'm going to ramble for a minute... There are a few things that some females do that just make all of us females look bad... The ones who NEED to be the center of attention, the ones who play the victim in every situation, and the ones who expect every one else to pay their way.... Ok, you know what? I think gold-digging is just glorified welfare. If you're soooo feminine that you couldn't possibly get off your butt and get your hands dirty, then you shouldn't expect to eat, drive, or dress in anything more fashionable than burlap. If a chick is soooo delicate, that she just couldn't possibly carry in her own groceries, or mow her own lawn, or *gasp*... WORK? Give me a break.
I've never been the type that will stand by in despair because there's no one around to help me get stuff done. Even before I was married, I was capable of handling things on my own. Working, paying bills, cleaning, and yes, even paying my own way (and my friends' way) out on the town. I didn't need, or want, or expect, that some one else was going to have to foot the bill. So not all females are materialistic, or gold diggers, or spoiled. Some of us actually pay our own way, and pull our own weight. Before marriage, and during.
... And if I EVER catch one of my daughters throwing a temper tantrum like that little princess over the car... There won't be a present for them to complain about. It would be taken back, returned, and explained in detail why, probably starting off with "Since you're such an ungrateful little...." Then again, I can't see either of my girls doing something like that, since more value is put on education and time, than material items. (Don't get me wrong. Our 8 year old loves her littlest pet shop toys. BUT, given the choice between a new plastic pet, or playing Chess all night... she'll go for time spent together.) So in some ways, I kind of HAVE to blame the parents for creating, maintaining, and unleashing such grossly spoiled and selfish humans onto the world... Gee, hope they're proud of their handiwork.

well alot of guys buy their girls gift because alot of guys most likly assume that they would get shot if they didn't. As for paying for your girls food or w/e yea to me it seems more proper. 
This is all great fun, but my wife of almost 18 years is fun to hang around and almost never bothers me about the time I spend on the computer (she reads a lot). She has to be the way she is, she is out numbered 3 to 1(two teen aged boys).

I am running a kill death ratio of about 1:2 on a good day. A few days ago I let my 13 yr old daughter try it while I got something to drink. I come back and she is ahead 4:1. I told her to knock it off and go study.
This morning, I let her play again for a few minutes. I come back just in time to to hear "great job Bones" for which I havent a clue and my ratio is up again. I told her that her mom was calling her and she better go fast.
She is ruining my image here, lol. So if you see me doing well, don't be so sure it's not a woman (girl) behind my keyboard.

Wow... I didn't know it was possible for a teenage girl to play DoD so well... OMG the world is coming to an end.
And to the paying for stuff part...
My girlfriend and I have a pretty cool system. I pay for dinner, she covers tip (I'm a waiter so I make her tip 20%-25% cuz thats all we waiters have to work for) and if we want to go get ice cream or any other desert at like baskin robbins or whatever she pays for that also. I end up paying more on the date but its kinda close to even. O and btw, I've been using this system with my gf for about 3 years now (we've been going out 3 years and 10 months but I was overly nice the first 10 months) and it works great.
Also, my gf = super chill because I work 4 nights out of the week, I paintball every saturday and the only thing on my mind is paintball and when I'm not paintballing I'm playing on the Strand server and yet she's still okay with everything. Of course we hang out a lot but I'm just saying, I'm juggling all that stuff on top of college and she's cool about giving me space.
So not ALL women are evil. Its just a select few that make all other women seem that way. (Joined eGO yesterday and I'm already getting on all of the female eGO member's good side )
