thinkin about buying TF2....any thoughts or opinions that may help me make up my mind?...and btw...how much space does it take up on the hard drive?...

Played it a few times. IMO It's gets boring quite quick, it's the type of game you'd only play when your friend is, just for a laugh.

it can be a fun game. Very different from DoD:S or CS:S. its more of a RUN & CHARGE type of game than strategy or tactics.

If you do get it, come find me, I'll help you get oriented =)

not worth it. i as well bought it thinking it might be fun i have played it a total of like 2 hrs and have not found any interest in playing again

I myself have enjoyed it for the past several years, I played the original and loved it as well, guess it takes a special type of person to see the fun in the game i guess lol. If you do get it hit me up ill show ya around black mesa

The game is actually on 1GB, the rest of the 5.8GB is Hats...

I tried it out when they had the free trial weekend, it's a little too fast paced for my liking. It was hard for me to get different classes down, let alone how to play, with all the battle taking place right in front of you. Never quite understood the whole hat concept, I like my games a little more realistic and needs more thought to play.

I used to play it a lot but then they added hats and such and i was like:blink: then i was like:) then i was like:mellow: then they were like HATS!!! and i was like :( and they were like MOAR HATZ!!1!! and then i was like:facewall: and i quit.

it now lies uninstalled in my steam menu...

I own it, and have only played it maybe 3 or 4 times. You should check out gameplay videos on youtube to get an idea if you'd like it or not.

I used to play the original team fortress - never really got into it - my son bought tf2 - just not for me - I was always a halflife guy

I used to play it, then stopped shortly after they released the Polycount Update and totally unbalanced the game. I've barely played the game since. If you would have played it pre-polycount, you would have seen the real game and fallen in love with it. After the update, I raged like most people and turned to DoD:S or CS:S.
