I heard if you have multiple PSNs on a single console (As do I -- Our PS3 is shared within our family) you can get all of the free games by activating each account separately. Might as well take advantage of the offer and get ALL the games if you don't have them.
As for myself, I already own half of these games, so I'm just picking up Wipeout HD + Fury pack and the Super Stardust HD.
BTW, when you activate your PSN Plus, go under that section on the PSN Store, and pick up a 30 Day "Trial" (If you don't feel like renewing your PSN Plus) of Comet Crash, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Vector TD and many others.
Also, when you are a Plus member, you can get a "Full Game" Trial and it's basically downloading the entire game for an hour of gameplay. (Personally, I think it's kinda silly, since for me, it'd take 6 hours to download one, then to play for an hour is kind of off. But I guess if there's a game you REALLY want to try out to see if it's worth buying, go for it.)
There's also a few Plus dynamic themes that (I'm pretty sure) don't go away after your 30 day subscription expires.
Happy gaming!
