Hey, Most of us while we play our intense games of dod:s on the eGO servers are very competetive :-D. And most of us love our points! =P But, what about that one bad day when you go down 200 Points, or maybe even 400...what do we do? Lol well me- sighs that's the point where you know you have to give it a break. You play and the frustration keeps building up. The next time I reconnect my whole style in game changes. I start playing so tactical so I can get greater kills and the least amount of deaths. So I can regain the lost points.
You know- sometimes I like to look at it as if the game wasn't calculating my every shot, kill, and death. Seems like it takes a whole lot off your back =D Like when you first got the game. hahaha! I'm sure all of you has experienced the loss and the gain. lolololololol =D share your thoughts

in my honest opinion points and score are a bad reson to play to begin with... i am a firm beliver that you should play for fun not points... i dont care if one day i am killing everything under the sun or geting shot all the time... i just love the game...

but do you get anything with points....
money
fame
time off of work
lots of sweets
A's in school

no, so why stress???

one other note.... if you are stressing about points then dont be predictable and then when you start dieing complain about it...

GOT TO LOVE STAGICLY DENYING ACCSESS TO THE ENEMY....

definitely agree. there was someone on avalanche today (a member of our clan who i will not name) who spent the whole time talking about his poor score and his poor rank and how bad it was today. Like we would look down on him but him complaining so much would make us think hes a great player.. I told him several times to just play the game and dont worry about it but the whole time. argg..

Ok sorry.. LOL.. i just got out and saw this thread and needed to vent.

Meh i dont care about ranks, i used to care but now i dont lol i just like having fun and killing :D

I try not to get all caught up in my points, but it's fun to see what people are worth 18 points when i blow them up with mein rocket :D

I totally agree with colwulf. I think it takes a lot of the niceness of the game when you think too much about points. It becomes like working :P

its all your mood. Care-free. I start 0-6...no worries idk its just a game and itll even out. find myself at 9-8...If you start screaming out (which i have done) when you die, it only makes you worse lol

i ared about rank at the start but then u just have bad days and loose points and its like why did i spend all thst time trying to get up that high in the frst place :(

(loosing 500 oints at scrims for team kills and so on doesnt help either :P)

I stopped caring when I reached rank 4...now I play for as long as my kdr stays above 2 or 3, or untill 100, 200 or 300 kills.

yeah honestly i don't like this point gaining and losing system, it makes me worry more about the points more the game really. Can we take it out?

Another thing is the points, most people get about 8-10 points from you and you get about 2-4 points from them, its a little frustrating. And dont get me started about getting melee killed. :D

I dont care at all about my rank, what I do slightly care about it my KDR. Thats the only thing I try to keep up, along with flag caps. Points and rank arent a big deal to me.

i guess if im in the servers i should focus more on having fun or practicing then worrying about ranking

I play video games to have fun. The minute I'm not having fun, I should be doing something else :P. That's just my take, though. As long as people aren't demanding that everyone act like it's a real-life event, I'm cool.

Just try to laugh at things. Those random nades, mg fire through smoke, blocking, etc... it makes the game more enjoyable if the least enjoyable facets of the game are laughable.. for me anyway.

Cheers,

SnM
