Something that has REALLY helped me out is playing deathmatch games.. It really helps your reflexises and you'll get training for about every situation possible on that map. Also you dont have to wait to respawn, It's just like practicing w/ bots except its the real deal!

This thread is full of the lulz. Just click the articles in Mercs post (one of them is mine). It's a good starting point, you don't need to worry about become a pro until you become a pub star.

Its a spray game, use the p90,m4 and empty the whole clip while running.

If you want to play how it should be played, play the Beta. They fixed the recoil bug, and they fixed the jump peak advantage. I prefer to play Css Beta then Css. There isn't a lot of server to play on though(Just 1 server with <100 ping). Ill be glad if eGO can make a Css beta server.

This has already been answered. Read the articles, play with pros, you'll get better. But don't expect to get better in a week, or even a month for that matter. It gets damn hard to train yourself not to spray when every nerve in your body is screaming to. And this applies with other things as well, as in when and when not to throw a grenade and when to peak.

To be honest, many pro players have awesome computers which factors in to their gameplay. Your ping, your computer specs, your mouse, and your skills are all factors that make you become a better CS:S player.
