Counter Strike Source Lag...

When I join any server in Counter Strike Source I experience a lot of lag spikes in game. I am currently using Casey's Config... But is there any simple tweaks to make the game not lag at all?

The graphics of the game doesn't really matter to me as I have no intentions on play games for graphics (that's just my opinion).

So if any of you have some simple tweaks other then the tweaks already made in Caseys Config (graphics config), please help!

Do you mean your latency or fps.....

Are you playing wireless? Yes? play using Ethernet connection and see if you lag no more.

I have to admit the servers have been rather laggy for me recently, nothing i can really do just have to wait for it to calm down i guess. But defo try using cable rather than wireless.

I would say download game booster... That cleaned my stuff up.. It has this software that cleans up your computer and makes your games run smoother, it fixed my fps problem it went from 9 to 150 so.

Other than the Gfx card, my laptop is the same as yours, and it runs CSS fine. And my card is worse than yours, so I cant imagine that you need to lower the graphics more, maybe just experiment different settings because maybe its just 1 that doesnt like your computer.
