?ber Update.

this does look awesome, as long as theres new weapons that aren't just melee weapons and reskins of old weapons, its gonna be awesome.
Besides, this really does look great, idk what you guys are complaining about. Theres a new secondary for the heavy that you aren't supposed to eat, an awesome looking minigun thats most likely going to be nerfed a couple of weeks after release, a new revolver that looks great, seeing as barely any spies use ONLY their pistol revolver and all spies cloak/uncloak at one time or another, it seems pretty balanced, plus this is only the first damn day and 6 new weapons are announced. Remember the engie update? Where there was only ONE weapon per day? this is gonna be awesome.

I don't think the new minigun is overpowered at all..So what if you now have the ability to silently wind up your minigun..? The gun has the same power as the original minigun, and the firing speed is a hell of a lot slower.

I guarantee you'll have an easier time escaping from the Tomislav (or whatever its called) then the regular minigun or the Natascha. If you're worried about turning corners and seeing one of these bad boys, then just prefire, because you should have been doing that already anyways. ;)

I just dont get the spy knife..., +30 cloak on kill...usually when using the IW and you kill someone you pick up their ammo which that alone usually if not completely fills your cloak, I mean the weapon seems completely useless. Cant anyone come up with a good spy melee weapon for once?

Thinking more CnD for that knife. I'd venture far enough to say DR with it, but DR is impossible to use without saharan bonuses (unless you're playing against bad players or just get lucky).

What is the .5 slower cloak time going to do for the dead ringer? When you take damage are you going to drop a rag doll and .5 secs later go invisible?

I assume Meet the Medic on the final day.

They confirmed it, yes.

Looks okay so far.

Heavy:

Tomislav: Will be nerfed within the week of the update. The spin up time is the only thing that makes sure heavies don't go on solo killing sprees. -75% spin up time is a lot, and the silence allows heavies to go unnoticed in their rampages.

The Family Business: Shotgun looses some of it's burst damage, but makes up for it in long term. The real question is, why would any heavy even use the shotgun? Now that the Tomislav has instant damage with (almost) no spin up time, there's no point in using a shotgun. Just stick with sandvitch.

The Eviction Notice: If you're going to use fists, why wouldn't you use one of heavies much better items. The damage for these fists is almost negligible, and since there's no speed boost associated, getting in close will be a pain in the butt.

Spy:

The Enforcer: I'm not sure that .5 extra cloaking time will make much of a difference (especially with CnD) so this is almost a direct upgrade.

The Big Earner: The extra cloak time might help with the CnD, but as far as the heath debuff goes, this makes Spies prime targets for one-shots.

Pretty weak so far I guess, either underpowered or OP. I guess Valve is trying to play it safe seeing as I think they're going to try and update every class in one fowl swoop. Lets give these new weapons a few months and see.

Spy revolver is full of win!

I'm pretty sure it'll be a straight upgrade for DR Spies.

I don't think the new minigun is overpowered at all..So what if you now have the ability to silently wind up your minigun..? The gun has the same power as the original minigun, and the firing speed is a hell of a lot slower.

It does more damage than Natascha and from start to at least 3.5 seconds later does more damage than Sasha. There's a good comparative article on it here:

And how are you going to "pre-fire"? Walk around spun-up the entire game? Somehow hear a silent gun around the corner? Wallhack?

I guarantee you, Valve made it overpowered on purpose so tons of people will buy it on day one, and then nerf it a week later.

Poor suckers who buy things from the mann-conomy store.

And people on steam forums seem to have an average IQ of 60, based on that thread.

Good News: Yay, finally my favorite class is getting some love and his video!! :D

Meh News: Meh new weapons. :L

Bad news: Won't be able to play until next week... :(
