This F2P stuff iz awesome!!

Before this whole Free 2 Play stuff, I could not find a filled eGO server because of my timezone(GMT+8), but look at TF2 now!!! I can finally get in a good game of Blackmesa! and look at all these new guys with free accounts, they help me rack up my kills(not for long )
Im gonna go eat my Tomislav + Sandvich now, smells good!
What do you guys think about the update?

The strange weapons made me open crates for the first time in months and I got two unusuals so I'm quite happy. I also am a fan of the new scout weapons.

True that! I find myself having to join as soon as a spot is available.. I suppose it is a combination of the summer AND the free update.

I waited a while to get into Mesa only to find I had too much lag. I'm now waiting to get into Barnblitz but it looks like I could have quite the wait ahead of me.

I think a lot of disrespectful players has now joined the game which is disappointing because they get away with it in other free games. I was playing earlier and all I saw in the chat was trash talking it was horrible.

And for those that bought it, all we got was a freaking hat! I want a special character skin or something a bit more noticeable!

part of ego is we try to keep disrespectful people out so if u have any problems dont be afraid to grab a G or an O if there isnt one already there

also yes i agree i wish we would have gotten something better for actually paying for the game maybe a badge or something

I agree, Valve couldn't have chosen to implement that update at a more convenient time, most kids are in summer vacation which gives them more time to play.

Valve is amazing...

Argh, I'm in the reverse position. Because of my timezome, blackmesa always had players. Now I can't get into ANY of my favorite servers so I join a random, and hope I can "join when open" on my usual servers.

Cons: Admining got really busy. I can't play on my small list of favorites. The functionality of your "Friends list" or Friends Achievements is gone. I'm lucky if I see one person I know on my favorites

Pros: Super Gib-fest! on random player mobs (see: 2fort). More likely to get achievements on obscure maps. (There's a Well map? Does it have water? I dunno. I have too many other maps). The biggest pro will be more members for eGO.
