Battlefield 3 not coming to Steam

For those of you not getting BF3 on PC cause of steam: There are many reason not to get this game like you can't handle the game on your comp or the money needed to run this game. It's completely understandable but not getting it because of steam....cmon now.

Battlefield 3 is a great game and if you have decent specs and money for the game. I suggest getting it. But for god sake, EA said that BF3MAYnot come on steam. At least there is 2 months to resolved w/e is going on between steam and EA.

BTW: Don't flame a person especially in this thread. It'll just get the thread locked.

Who gives a crap if it's not coming to Steam? Buy or not, there's no reason to troll your fellow clan members. How about we all just grow up a little bit? I think it would be a win for society and humanity.

Absolutely disappointing.

I'm surprised but the game will still be just as enjoyable. My computer can sadly not run it so I dot have to worry about buying it on pc :D
 
Old news Jimmy, anyways I doubt that EA will allow rights for Steam to sell BF3 because of EA Orgin. I say bad time for EA to experiment with their PC fans.
 
I wish I could talk about the game, but as for Origin I have no problem with it at all.
 
There shouldn't be download clients required to access a game at all. It is unnecessary.
It should be optional.

FACT: The only reasonable explaination for them making it Origin exclusive is so they can force us to pay the extra 10 or 20 dollars console gamers pay and net %100 of the profit.

There's still plenty of EA games on Steam. Origin is just the downloader. With all the other EA games I've gotten from Origin, I do not have to keep it running, nor do I even have to start it at all to play any of the other games. You'll still be able to add it to Steam. Non-Steam BC2 can be added to Steam and the in-game chat, screenshots, etc, all work from Steam.

Although all that I see on Origin is a $59.99 BF3 preorder price tag, where as a lot of big new PC releases usually hover around $49.99. Usually b/c PC games don't have some royalty to pay (i.e to Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft), for releasing on consoles.
