Map problems.

So......for some strange untold reason i am unable to use the built in CSS map downloader to get onto servers like jail or other custom map games. i get the download bar and it does not fill, after about 30 seconds i get a message saying i don't have the map and i am unable to join. so i thought w/e and went and downloaded the maps from the site and set it up properly so it should work. i still got the download bar followed by the same message. so i deleted all of my local content and then deleted the counterstrike folder in my steam folder and re installed it via steam. so now i am still getting the same "you do not have the required map" message.......anyone able to shed some light on the situation?

i can download maps from other non eGO servers, so im guessing that its a problem with the eGO servers?

I'm having a similar problem.. I can't join the jail server when the map is on grand marble v3e. It will tell me I don't have the map. Then I rage and yell "Well then download it???!?!??!?!"

Seems as though a lot of other people are having the same problem... Most likely a server side problem and leadership is working on it

Mine gets halfway done downloading and i get error somewhat similar like this but with the jail maps
Missing map maps/gg_aim_ag_texture_jungle-l.bsp, disconnecting

We pushed out a fix to correct the issues earlier today. If you are still having problems downloading send me a PM in ventrilo.

We were having intermittent FastDL DNS issues earlier.

Nope, not all of them, I've seen at least 3 jail maps that aren't there.
