Can anyone recommend a good pc game pad? I have a couple of older games from steam that don't use the mouse and it feels awkward playing a game with both hands on the keyboard.

an xbox controller is your best bet. Some here have said you can just plug the charger into a USB port and it works plug N play style, for some reason mine won't do that :(

Otherwise you can buy an adapter that does this if your charger cord doesn't want to play nice. That would be my recommendation.

You have to buy the adapter for it to work.

I have a logitec dual shock controller and just love it. Only thing I have a problem with is with games like GTA4 that only support the xbox controller. But that's what mods are for :P

I'm guessing you're trying to use a wireless controller. That doesn't work, the charging cable is only for charging. You would have to buy the wireless adapter for it to work, or buy a wired controller.

Ill look into logitech game pads. i looked at the thrustmaster and i couldn't find any american retailers. The 360 pad is really nice but i can't justify spending 50-60 dollars on a game pad that im only going to use for 20 dollars worth of games.
