Hello, everyone. I'd like to point out a problem with the eGO servers on DoD:S. This problem deals with calling for medic.

How many times have you been shot and your health bar goes in the red, but you can't do anything about it? I know it's happened COUNTLESS times for me. just when I say "medic", a message pops up showing "25 HP? GET BACK IN THERE AND FIGHT!" The only way to heal is to run into flames, because if you get shot JUST ONCE, you die.

Is there any possible way to change this?

maybe 90 no scopes will mean something again... :thumbup:
 
once you get lees then 25 health you can heal. when you get 25 the bar is red. But you need less.

we will definitely not be making it easier in any way to heal.

To address dv8, I personally do not like the medic mod, but I see no reason to remove it as people are used to it and our servers are doing alright.

the flame "abuse" is the smartest thing to exploit it so stick whit it, a lot off servers don't even offer a medic so i defitnly wouldn't set the 25hp bar up higher. Its already amazing we have it, even though i am not a real fan about it.
 
absolutely no need to change it. we definitely dont want it to be easier to heal. No medic at all would be fine but since everyone is used to it, just leave it the way it is.
 
Perhaps if the bar did not change color until the player was at less than 25% People could call for medic when the bar turns red. I believe it is the less than or equal setting for red that Toastado is objecting to, Not the less than 25% requirement for calling for medic. A simple change in the code to less than rather than less than or equal would fix this.
 
My suggestion: Increase 25 to atleast 35 or 40. Keep the same Med packs.
 
I think that the way the medic mod is currently setup is just fine. 24% health is the point at which you can heal. If we hike this number up to 35% or 40% after using the medic mod players would have 85% and 90% health respectively, healing them almost completely back to full health. I believe that making any changes to the medic mod is poinless. The mod is designed to give players the chance to heal from injuries that almost cause them to die. If players can heal whenever they want we might as well just unlock sv cheats and give everyone god mode.

Just remember that the medic mod is a perk for playing on eGO servers just like the pistol for certain classes. I think it adds some strategy and fun to the gameplay. If you're hurt badly then heal if not, then go get hurt some more!
