Which CoH?

Are we only do skirmishes for the original CoH game?

I understand there are multiple games and expansions and before I buy it I want to make sure. Thanks!

There's only one game with several expansions. One of them might be a stand-alone expansion, though, I don't know.

If it's like DoW, which it probably is because it's the same developer, then no matter what expansions you have you should be able to play with anyone else with any, all, or none of the expansions.

So, everyone is just playing Company of Heroes, and not Opposing fronts or Tales of Valor?

Bottom line is, regardless of which you buy, as long as you buy 1 of the 3 CoH's you can play multiplayer with anyone else, regardless of their combination of owned CoH's.

For example if your friend has opposing fronts only and you have tales of valor, you will each be able to play together, but will have different units unlcoked in multiplayer as a result.

Heres a breakdown for you.

CoH Original (Vanilla) = US and Wehrmacht teams in multiplayer
CoH OF = British and Panzer Elite teams in multiplayer
CoH ToV = Several optional custom units for each of the four teams listed above.

Haha gotcha Blue Stealth. I think ima get the original, it's quite cheap and I love RTS games, especially WW2 ones.

The expansions are worth it in my opinion, but yea play the Vanilla first and see how it goes.
