Want to play some LFD2 tonight?

[Spitfire'd]

Hey everyone. I think this is ok here, but if you want to move it to misc. gaming that's fine with me.

I am trying to organize some LFD2 play. I'd specifically like to play a full round (or rounds) of versus in Dead Air to help towards the goal of unlocking the next LFD1 campaign (Blood Harvest). If that goal was already hit, I'd still like to do it anyways, I love the original campaigns!

I will be available tonight from about 10pm EST on. I know that's late for some, but I am still hoping we can get 8 people together, have some fun and kill some zombies. I tried setting this up last night at the last second and it fell through, especially since I tried to advertise in shoutbox while people were getting their awesome awards.

So if you are interested in playing post a reply and I will try to keep a running count of who all can play. If we get enough people, maybe we get two games going?

If you can't play I ask that you not reply and let the thread die. Otherwise I'll see the replies and get my hopes up.

Teams will be random, I can't offer any prizes other than a jolly-good time with your fellow eGO members. I found out last night I'd much rather play with you guys than take my chances with swearing, racist pubs.

So yeah that's pretty much it. 10p.m. EST look for me in Vent in a general room! Hope you can make it!

I'd be up for it!

After 7pm PST I should be there! Can you PM me your steam name and I will add you?

[Narh]

I'll try to be on
Havent played l4d2 in.... forever, though.

[Spitfire'd]

Cakeman is that a yes?

And Ragman it's ok, I haven't played in forever. I was terrible in my game with the naughty pubs.

Don't worry fixitquick, as soon as I get my desktop on I will add everyone not already on my friends list.

[Vicki]

I'm down!

[Narh]

Gonna have to withdraw =\

Seems I hadn't updated l4d2 in a while, and I have a 6 hour dl time for it

[Spitfire'd]

oh no sorry to hear that. Maybe next time!

Still plenty of room folks!

Final Update:

Hey, thanks again to everyone who showed up.

As I found out tonight, there is a pretty big sized group that usually hang out in the DoD channels in Vent and they play almost every night. Wish they had said something here!

So if you want to play, ask around in there and you'll find them. I don't always have a night off like tonight but as we've clearly seen it is by far more fun to play against eGO people (who we can guarantee aren't hacking) then pubs.

So hopefully I'll be in many versus modes with many more of you soon!
