To answer a few questions, I'm currently doing some research into cultural production and values at video game companies. Basically, for my undergrad and eventually graduate work, I'm looking at emergence of culture in the digital frontier. I wrote a research proposal to go out to visit Valve, and then made contact with some individuals at the company. Next thing I know, my university cut me a check and I was on my way.

This isn't a joke, nor is it my sweater. I just happened upon it outside one of the cabal rooms and snapped a pic. I figured you folks would appreciate being repped at Valve.
