We still have a stats system? Been months since I last saw my last message about them, guess I was busy having fun and not worrying about something as pointless as points. Go ahead and reset or don't, although it seems many people want a stat reset, either way I'll continue to have fun and anoy C-WHiT and Blue with random questions or messages to get them killed in the middle of combat!
 
Seems to be pretty one sided in favour of reset - and that is also coming from people in various places in ranking from Xiah down to the bottom feeders like me.. One thing to point out to people who are against it as they like to compete on points: The percentages will stay the same.. It was not that long ago that i remember seeing the top people under 20k points, now they are over 30K (i think??)

Either way where you are overall placed should stay relatively similar depending on how much you play. I do think this could stimulate a bit more play due to points previously mentioned:
- people will not have high points to protect so MAY be willing to push harder
- people will have a chance to get a higher ranking than people who are way up there but don't play so much

Also don't forget to have a quiet thought of appreciation for the advisors/DL's for putting this out there.. no matter what we think individually,right or wrong they are at least giving every member of the division a chance to say what they want in a fairly big decision and that is what we want isn't it!!

I gotta figure out how to say what i want in less words...
 
It only works, especially with the prizes if there are resets on a consistent basis, 3-6 months.

Camping would be way worse if you did that.. I support the reset, would be good to start over.

I think a point reset migh actually cause people to camp a little more. Because every death would mean a whole lot more because their point stotal would be relatively low. But then again it would really only take a few weeks and the tops players would be up around 10,000 points again (thanks to anzio!)

I support just because it would be a fresh start! But we may also loose a few players because all their hard work will be thrown out the window. But then again a points reset may bring more people in for a little while as they can quickly climb up the rankings . . . only at the start though.

This is laughably weak. You need to wipe ALL the stats.. resetting points is nothing. Reseting real statistics like the K/D is something. Been waiting for a long time for you to wipe the stats... but dont wipe em just for points there is no POINT in that.

I would honestly be 10x more likely to to come back and play for my K/D than points

well first off that's no excuse for the poor attitude.

secondly, where does it say that stats reset is off the table? Now I direct you to the title of this thread...

The cake might be a lie but the hole you're digging with those made-up assumptions might not be. thoroughly read the thread before you make accusations of laziness.

I wouldn't be against it since I'm not very good at DoD xD I need to find time to play it more often to actually get better!

What Kiwi said makes perfect sense and that is exactly what will happen. The new blood edgegamers servers might attract will keep the servers busy for a short while and won't last. Especially since a few new blockbuster war games are right around the corner. That is what happened last year and Donner and a few others went bare for quite some time. Could barely keep Flash, Kalt, Donner, and even Colmar active. Not to mention the scavenge hunt we all went on to find a new server badda bing.. Anzio.
