Do E's not enforce rules?

I once said "language" when someone was cussing excessively on the mic and there weren't any admins on the axis side, and some admin from the allied side said to me "you don't have admin, so you aren't allowed to tell other people what to do." in everyone chat. So, it has turned me off to the whole issue.

I've noticed that a couple of the servers have filters, but others don't. Wouldn't a lang filter take care of the bad language? Seems pretty simple to me

yeah i agree, but that only takes care of the chatting. what about voice?

honestly, if u enforce the rules once or twice then u tell them that they will, or most likely be kicked....then if they get kicked u will have a free cosience knowing.....u warned them

I don't get why admins get angry at us e's for it because look at them they were e's once. All were basically doing is showing that we can enforce the rules which shows that we would be good admins. So really I think they should worry about themselves and what they have to do to cussers and not what the e's are saying to the cussers.

thats exactly what i do.
i just kindly remind them that if thiey break the rules they will be kicked

and also Derek yu shouldnt get angry with the admins their just trying to do their job,most times when they is an incedent, just tell the admin using admin chat and every thing will be GOOD,the admins try really hard and they have done alot for this clan. i think that they deserve our respect and our loyalty

Well here is what I do:

After an offense is committed:
-Say nothing at first. See if he repeats it.
-If he repeats, simply ask nicely, "hey can you not curse on this server?" Its all in the tone of voice. Since there is no authority backing E's, its better to appeal to the kinder side of the offender.
-If he says, screw you, then I do nothing. I just wait. Usually it stops. If it continues, I contact an EG/EGO
-If he stops and says sorry, or similar, I thank him. That way there is respect from each side.

All of us =e= have to remember that our only enforcement option is to get a REAL admin. So actaully we cannot even start to ENFORCE the rules, we can simply ask for compliance. Like others have said, it is all about the tone of voice. If you can get a person to comply willingly perhaps you are showing the qualities of an excellent admin, and could get your G or GO soon.

I have no problems with the admins its just when they say "Oh, your not an admin you have no right to tell them to watch their language and stuff like that." I dont see why they can't just leave us alone for trying to help and appreciate it thats all. Really the way the admins work on the servers are amazing and I appreciate it.

look freom now on i think that i will just ask them to follow the rules of the server and if it keeps happening i wiil just leave it alone and wiat for an admin

If you notify an admin instead of trying to do the job yourself, not only will the rule breaker suffer but you also get to talk to other members of the clan. Win-Win situation, and you never have to worry about there not being any eG or eGO, just look at the roster
