So have you seen a talon or have played talon?

What do you think of the character?

When I get time I will post a small montage of me using talon so you all can see what he is like.

He is one of the harder characters to master. That combo so hard to hit >.<

Its very easy to dodge the large damage component of his ult, where all the blades come flying back to him. Talon's will typically stick to you so that as many blades as possible hit and he does the maximum amount of damage. This leaves him open to a couple things, I was playing brand and I simply AoE'd him to death while he was invis since it was easy to tell where he'd be, and then also if you change directions at last second you'll only get hit by one or two of the blades since he won't be able to react fast enough.

That being said, hes a pretty powerful champ, but at least so far I've found that he is pretty easy to counter with most AP casters.

I use his ult as a finisher mostly. Wait until a team fight > Pick squishiest target > Noc diplo, Cutthroat, rake, ult out.
If Im a bit too far, I'll ult first to get closer with the speed buff, use noc diplo/cutthroat, rake, and flash out.

That usually more than enough to severely cripple/kill my target and maim their teammates. Been working for me so far

Still getting XP
First time I vs'd talon, i got owned. After figuring out exactly what does what, and that if you're slowed he does more damage, it was pretty easy to counter. I see most people get a frozen mallet so they can keep their target slowed to do even more damage, but as long as you can stay away from him (even after he shunpo's to you), you're fine.

Played against a Talon last night. His rake can be pretty annoying, but doesn't seem to do much early game. Was thinking of getting him, but I think I'll pass this time.

Yea, I use it mostly for harassing early game. Late game though it get good.

Last game I played I got ganked by the whole team, so I rake'd, ult'ed, cutthroat'd, and took urgot, ashe, and yi with me

I got a quadra just last night with talon wish I had screen shot >.<

But anyways his early game is terrible in my opinion so you need runes and maseries to help get rid of that
