A fix was released last night that should fix the problems you were having. Just reverify your cache and it should download the new files.
 
1) I do not appreciate some of the disrespectful posts in this thread. They related posts have been deleted. Please take this as a warning as such disrespect isn't tolerated; not in game, not in our forums.

2) It was announced yesterday that the game developers accidentally released a developer's build version onto Steam instead of the finalized product. They released a follow-up "patch" that should correct the issues in the game.

3) Have fun.
 
im actually planning to get this game friday, so I was wondering:

any1 here who wants to do co-op this weekend? I'm gonna start from the beginning though :o

It's alright if you start from the middle and someone else higher in progress joins you. I read that the co-op is very smartly done. Just watch out for the difficulty changes.
 
yea, but I actually wanna play it from the start, have chat, and record it so we can all have fun. I'm actually thinking about doing Let's Plays with any eGO member that wishes to join ^^

bought the game on steam today for 49,99, only to find out a website I know just posted a update where they sell the game for 19,99 0_0 ....
 
yea I read about that, but that should be fixed tomorrow when EU is released.
 
cannt wait :D untill they fix it i read something on their twitter saying their server was slammed by people and didn't expect how many ppl who buying it.
 
ah level 27 Logan, found 2 extremely rare mods and have a shotgun, shock pistol and assault rifle, and used a .50 cal machine gun, this game keeps getting better and better
 
Going to try it out at a friends over the weekend... but it really doesn't seem to be anywhere near what the trailers suggested it could/would be. We'll see.

This game is dream come true for me. I love zombie movies but IMO L4D lost that spark after few hours of playing. But this is just... everything I wanted for zombie genre :) It's just like tropical 28 weeks later and L4D was more like road trip Dawn Of The Dead (Zack Snyder's) :) (I love both movies, but I prefer 28 weeks later).

Ifyou didn't tried this game - do it :) I was surprised with HW requirements, I mean it even runs better than any other new game on my notebook :)
 
we should have get together like farming and leveling up so we can beat the game together i know dutch already ahead of that :D
