I have been Officially in eGO for almost 3yrs. I have been playing with the community since b4 it was the community it is now. There will always be haters of people and places that do well, uphold standards and values. That is life and the way it will always be. I will agree with everything that has been said here so far in this thread. You gotta be you and let no one and I mean NO ONE dictate who YOU are and who YOU will be or become. You joined us for reasons your own and NEVER let anyone tell you different. eGO is a family and we will support you no matter what your decision may be. In my opinion i say stay, take the flak, grow a thicker skin that will bounce that flak and leave zero damage, Just my opinion.

Sorry to hear and I may be a bit a old fashioned but if people are having a go at you they are not friends, friends would support what you do not trash you for it. ego members would not do this and I have been a member for around 3 years now and enjoyed every minute. Good luck to you on whatever you decide to do.

Words are JUST words, and you shouldn't let some troll try and 'forcefully' tell you what to do...specially if it's over a video game.
That isn't a friend worth having in my opinion, life is too short to worry about getting hacked because you played on a "no no" server or joined a forum community that "his highness" doesn't approve of.
It seems to me like your "friend" is starving for your attention, so he'll get it either positively or negatively......he feeds off of it....it's....his precious!
Don't feed his addiction and ignore him!!

It sounds like one of your friends got in trouble with eGO and now he wants to spoil your experience. We would hate to see you go. perhaps you may want to look at your friends and ask if they are your friends why are they asking you to leave. This does not sound like friends. it is your choice and you are always welcome to visit.
Just take their words for a grain of salt.
One reason eGO is so strong is that it has a strict rules, which cuts out any fooling around and drama. Other servers/community have little to no rules, so you can run wild and start trouble and causes the community to crumble. That is a big problem in most other servers.

um where to start,I was part of a community called *PSG*-Pain Street Gaming for almost a year-as a community it has flourished but lacked the desire to get into competitive gameplay as many people could not commit.I recently left the community as many of them were not online and not able to game(broke with a clean slate no hard feelings from leaders)-you have a great community here that backs you up at every turn,why leave?As in previous posts I would have to agree with some of your mates-don't let your friends bully you(they're not your friends if they do)-make your own decisions-good or bad choose what is best for you

They should have no say in which clan / community you are in, and they should respect you for being apart of eGO. A lot of players harass eGO members because they have most likely been banned for not following our simple rules. You make your own choices, not them. If I was you, I'd delete them completely off steam, or wherever you have them and keep playing with eGO. You'll make a lot of great friends here. We all get along with one another and if you'd like, feel free to add me on steam because I'm always willing to help.

There are decades of combined years of experience here telling you that eGO will not hack you. Nobody in eGO will hack you. We are a tight knit but open community, and we strongly suggest if you have any issues at all, that you contact any eG or above. Advisors are there to support you, and they will, I guarantee it.

These people are not your friends.
They have already clearly demonstrated to you that they hate the choices made willingly, that being a member of eGO.
They have clearly advised that, due to your choice, your account, I reiterate, your personal information may be at risk, and they have suggested they may attack you for it.
You do not need to be around these types of people, in my opinion. I'm rather new here, and know nothing about you, but I do know harassment, and bullies when I see them.
Look around in eGO, there are all sorts of awesome examples of kindness and people who are more than willing to be friendly with you.

A lot of people are turned off by eGo's policy of no swearing and general good manners, so they bash anybody associated with us in a form of spite. Quite a bit about what you "hear" about here may not be necessarily true. Just stick to your guns and figure it out for yourself what you want to do. Occasionally when I go to other servers I'll get a "oh look it's an ego bluh bluh huge witch" from their administrator on hand, which I find revolting personally, and occasionally I've been kicked from a server just for being an eGo. If you really like a server but are getting harassed heavily because of your affiliation with us, consider changing your name for the duration of your stay there.
