headphones and x-fire

1. could someone please explain what x-fire is, i apologize but i am very new to it.

2. I would like to be able to talk to people in the game without typing and what kind of headphones do i need. can i get them from newegg.com? do they have to be usb port connected?

1. Its an instant messanger program with a couple cool features for gamers.
2. Any headphones will do. Yes you can buy them from newegg.com. Most headphones connect to the pink port in the back/front of you computer hardly ever the usb port.
