Computer build suggestions

Hey, I am looking at buying a gaming computer but don't know much about what parts to get, So i was wondering if you guys could help me out.

My budget is around $2000 and i need the whole computer, speakers, keyboard and mouse but don't need a moniter. I live in Australia so can't buy off Newegg.com and ive heard good things about pccasegear.com so i will probably be buying off there unless there is a better place that you know about that ships to Australia.

So if you guys could give me some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

I gave you an Intel Core i5 2500K which is great for gaming. If you spend a lot of time photoshopping/video-editting the I7 2600K would be best for you.
Gave you 8G of ram which is plenty.
1TB hard drive, should be enough. Gave you an 128G SSD, big enough to put windows on it along with some games.

Above is withough GPU, most important part of your PC.. gaming whise that is.

Im buying of the website scorptec.com.au and they dont offer some of the parts you said to get, So here is what i have so far:

I have no idea if this is going to work together or fit together. Just tell me if i should swap around some parts or if its not going to work.

What resolution do you plan on playing at? Under 1080p, don't bother going with dual video cards, maybe get a single GTX 570/580.

Ill be starting with a monitor that runs at 1680x1050 but I'll probably be looking at upgrading in the future so what do you think, stay with the dual GTX 560s or get a single GTX 570/580?

Do you get ebuyer down under? They do discounts on computer components and accessories.

I strongly suggest Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 speakers. Around ?300, they're 2.0 but the best non-semipro speakers i've used.

If not, you can get Bowers and Wilkins 600series on ebay, great for music. I suggest the Steelseries 5HII headset aswell.

Depending on what you're playing, mouses will vary. I use a Razer Abyssus, but any Razer, Roccat, Logitech or Steelseries mouse will do fine. If you're into MMOs, check out the Razer Naga.

Finally, keyboards. I use a Razer Arctosa keyboard; but anything will do.

Thanks, I don't think we get ebuyer but the website I'm buying it off is assembling it too so I want to buy it off there anyway... And thanks for the suggestions on the speakers, mouse and keyboard I needed to get some ideas about them.

The way I see it, no point of buying 2 mid range cards. You got a pretty high budget. You'd be stuck at 2 x GTX 560's, you'd have to sell both to go even higher, and you wouldn't get much for them (2-3 years down the line) and GTX 560's are stuck at 2 way-SLI.

You could take a look at EVGA's brand new released GTX 580 Classified. :thumbup:

I swapped the 2 GTX 560's for the EVGA GTX 580 and it knocked off about $10. So what do you think about the coolers and will the motherboard support all the parts and everthing fit in the case?
