You don't find that level of depth in your common children's TV show. Considering he corrupted each and every one but Twilight, but in a way he did. Can't think of many shows at all that I've actually had to analyze to make sense.
Although, that thought instantly loses all depth if they explain it in the next episode. They better not.

Just a note, I didn't mean my message to be for or against MLP in any way, merely a response to the post before mine saying "And you think ponies are girly?". I do consider the show girly but I have no problem with anybody watching it, everybody has "that one thing" which they do that people consider weird, and watching MLP is no different.
