Where did your name come from?

Name was originally Cable (came to me in a dream). When I joined eGO, Cable was taken, soooo CableMAN was born.

My name came from a VERY old Might and Magic game... :)
 
Got mine from a random username generator. Made it so it took two random words and put them together (explains the capital J and B), it gave me a list of usernames to choose from, most of them were... Interesting, like FootballBaloney and MilkDuds.

So JavaBasher I became.
 
Long ago in a far away land called 'Highschool', My friend Skipper and I lollygagged and bamboozled our way through the mystical teachings of 'Freshmen Seminar' which at the time was required by the state of North Carolina so it could help you (aka waste your precious time) with the senior project (which I never had to do anyway because they got rid of it the year before I graduated). Skipper was an artist like I, so one day out of the many days we doodled and sketched, we were discussing pseudonyms for art. He had his name 'Skipper' which later faded, and I didn't have much of anything except 'Lady' to run with which was a nickname given to me by a few random friends. So we were messing around with my name and then Skipper wrote down 'Lady with A FACE'. From then on, History was made! A few weeks later, I created a deviantart, became extremely popular, and then deleted the page 4 years later out of disgust for the website and it's stupid popularity and politics. LadyFace is one of the many variations alongside, Ladyhasaface, LadyfaceLarue and of course, just Lady.

Ah Timmy was a good fella! I remember him like he was my own brother! He was such a nice guy... Gosh.. I can't say enough good things about him... sniff sniff....

My name came from the dictionary, and Foxe's Book Of Martyrs. I was always inspired by the fact that people would die for their faith.

Before that I was Joshinator. That was a nickname I got from a friend. Don't really know how, but yea....

And I just realized this is the CSS section....

so like i guess i might as well post up the real story of how my name came to be...

ok so like 5 years ago me and my buddies decide to start watchin some movies

one of them happened to be reservoir dogs

so for those of you who havent seen the movie (check it out its a good on, pretty sure sexy beast will agree) they dont use their names

instead they use names such as Mr orange Mr pink etc

well after watching the movie we started calling each other by Mr's

for a while i was Mr. White (this being because all my friends were hispanic/asian)

but eventually they went on to calling me Mr C (my name being clint)

and after a couple months it got to where they just dropped the Mr and started calling me C

so when i finally needed an account name and i was having trouble thinking of something i just started mumbling to myself "well my names clint, but thats kinda boring, i need something cool. well what can i use? well um, they do call me c.. i could be C... but that just seems too short, duh They Call Me C!"
 
My name came from Metal Gear Solid. I've been using this name since I first started playing cs which was a mod of half life at that point about a decade or so ago.
 
o man i miss timmy and jimmy they were some good stuff.this is how i got my name.

So, one day I went to a restaurant, and I was just craving apple pie. So I asked the waitress if I could have a slice. She just rolled her eyes and walked away. After about an hour and a half, she came out with a slice of pie. The pie she gave me was cherry, and as we all know, no one like cherry pie. The rage just built up within me. After she went and grabbed the right pie, three hours have passed. The apple pie was soooo amazing. After the pie, I decided to go fishing. There I caught a huge lake trout that I named lil Mikey. After a tough day of fishing, I cooked lil Mikey and ate him. Eating pie and then fish made me really sick. So I went to bed. From then on I was known as steelpenguin

Did it also mention that he must kill himself by means of suffocation by water in order to sustain all life? It's ok though because he comes back to life in about five minutes. Ten tops.

hahahahaha ^^^^ see i totally dont believe this story but it was good this kind of troll is good to have around not negativity thank you steelpenguin for that great story i really bought it for a sec hahaha u got me buddy
 
well my original name, which was The Angry Arab, was a high school nickname. My heritage is Persian. One day my friends and I decided to make a clan called POME (People of Multiple Ethnicities) and my friends dubbed me "The Arab." When I informed them that Persian people hate being called Arab, they said "Oh, so now you're just being an angry arab." The name was born in CS:S.

My current name is because when i first started playin HoN, my friends and I created a clan for a tournament we were in called _iWa_ (Interstellar Wizard Alliance) and we all picked wizard names, and i chose Gandalf. yay
