Lan party?

Hello people,

I've been playing CS since the day I was born, and I have been attending multiple tournaments and LAN parties around the country. I was wondering if you all are active like me? I was looking at hosting a lan party somewhere. Who lives close to Seattle, WA?

Thought it would be cool to have an Ego event like this.

I think eGO tried something like this a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG time ago near LA or something. It'd be cool but you'd need a ton of members near you.

Maybe create a social group for your area, assuming there isn't one already, and then promote it in a post on the forums. Even if you grab 10-15 people, that's a sweet LAN party right there!

Also, if someone says they are a 18 year old girl and they want to have a LAN party, you may find :

1. The person was not a girl

2. The person is a 40 year old fat man with a bag of duct-tape and a knife

3. You have made a huge mistake meeting people from the internet

This is a true statement. It's fun to meet the community. I honestly don't care who shows up..... we just need to get together and have a fun time!

I think a lot of people figure "Why go somewhere else to play a game with the same people that I play with from the comfort of my own home?" I know it's nice to meet the people you game with a lot, and I have met people from a previous clan before, but for a lot of people it's more about convenience. Just my two cents.

I usually have lan parties every friday/sunday. The largest I've ever managed to organize had 16 people. And that was 2 years ago.
