Woooow, Well I can understand that a lot of people are getting frustrated tho.

Maybe if they would tell us more of what they are fixing from the beta....:chair:

Also I am not sure why they would post that honestly...looking at their twitter, it looks like they deleted it.

One reason you don't have open betas which still have lots of issues. Also, those that left probably just preordered to get in early beta and probably won't be regular gamers.

I don't really care if they don't play, I'm still playing

That's my guess anyway.

I'm actually following the Battlefield Twitter account and they never posted that.

im on twitter quite a few times every day and i didnt see this one.
dont see why they would post that either.

No, that doesnt sound like the BF team. They would have posted that on their facebook as well.

Reasons why i dont think this is real:
1) doing the math thasts only 567 copies, not something really to worry about
2) it is un-professional for them to be posting as such
3) these are easy to photoshop, even using paint is easy enough if its a white background.
4) i cant think of another reason.

How does 34,000 pre-orders equate to 567 copies?

Anyways, it's already been proven people can easily manipulate the javascript code to show anything they want on the page (unofficially)

There is another screenshot going around that says something like "34k pre-orders canceled. LOL you [censored], I'm just kidding" I didn't post the image because it has some profanity in it .. but .. just to let you know .. it's all fake.

This looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

It's obviously fake, but I've heard lots of talk that people are taking the beta in leagues with a demo, and are no longer planning on getting the game.

The ignorance of our general gaming populace astounds me.

This. I understand there are bugs, glitches, lack-of-balance, and other crap, but they said it themselves, this is basically an alpha build packaged as a beta so they can stress test and get bug reports. Too many people don't understand that the final game will be completely different.

oh i lied.... i thought they were talking about $$ for pre orders at 60 bucks a game. oops

I think the intended declaration was they lost 34,000 pre-orders, not $34,000 worth of pre-orders. But I do agree the imange could have beeneasily manipulated to the public's eye to gather a surprised response.

This is confirmed fake. EA/Dice would NEVER post losses like that 2 weeks before a major game launch.

I recommend you follow this advice. Pay attention ONLY to news from the source itself. Whether it be about GW2, BF3, Diablo III, etc. etc. I will only listen to the publisher itself about beta, launch, and in game info. There's just too much fake stuff out there created by trolls, such as this.
