Dont really like the way apple conducts buisness, but NOONE can understate the change steve brought on the Buisness, Technological, Gaming, and really our entire culture.
I mean when you think about it, how many people do u know have Iphones? A LOT.

wow.... no matter if your mac or pc got to give it to him he did a hell of a lot not only for that company but for the entire industry and the consumers.
Couldn't say it any better.
I just heard bout it on Hardball or whatever show is on via CNN. When I heard it, I literally said out loud "What?". I seriously couldnt believe it. Such a brilliant mind. Its sad to think that Mr Gates outlasted his technology partner in crime (figuratively speaking of course).

The American government, federal reserve, and poor economy forced many American companies to do these things in order to supply consumers with their products. Blame Ben Bernanke, Geithner, and government over-regulation, not Steve Jobs.
While I do agree that Apple products are needlessly overpriced, your comments are quite inappropriate for a man who has just died.
Now I am a PC "fanboy" but give credit where credit is due. Jobs was one of the most influential and innovative individuals of our time.

Along with most of your clothes, gadgets and pretty much everything in your house.
I'm not the biggest fan of Apple's products but Steve contributed so much to the industry and changed it forever, for the better. Forcing developers to compete to make better products and new innovations, can't deny him of that. RIP.
as a computer scientist myself, the innovative spark and keen ability in both design and business that Steve Jobs demonstrated have been an inspiration to me. he was a revolutionary in the best way.
this reminds me of how i felt when steve irwin died: an invincible leader who was bravely forging paths was suddenly snatched away. though steve jobs had been in declining health, i was still shocked to hear the news earlier today.
future generations of computer scientists will have lost an opportunity to learn from the genius of one of the greatest minds ever to grace the industry.
rest in peace, steve.

I will give Jobs credit as a damn good businessman but to be honest other than that his products are terrible. Nor did he invent them his engineers did and he just marketed them.
