In answer to that its .pls
PLS file is a multimedia playlist. It can be created/edited using a simple text editor (Notepad). PLS is a proprietary format used for playing Shoutcast and Icecast streams.
Ii may be played windows media, itunes, winamp, and many more.
Dont save the stream open it with one of the above media players or use your fav one most support the ability to play back this file extention.

We do have a large database of artists right now but once we migrate to a new database, that will be public information. If you have any recommendations for songs or artists, please send them to [email protected]

The size of the database is dependent on the amount of live dj's we get on air.
My database alone is 53,000 tracks.
stemming from music from 1950 1960 1970 1980 1990 2000 2010
obscure bands to well know stuff.

I can assure you that we have dj's in line that can cover almost any genre.

You guys will be impressed with the effort that has been put in so far its amazing.
I cant wait till launch im feeling kinda spooky about the whole thing.

Yes until we are granted access the email system for the radio we can not accept mail.
We are looking into getting this resolved as soon as possible.

Everyone needs to understand this is still in beta and under construction.

We want to please as many people as possible and play as many of your requests as we can.
The more DJ,s we have live on air the bigger the total database grows.

We will be having DJ try outs soon.
keep an eye out for that.

sadly it is an internet only radio station, if we grow into a bigger station from that we could become an FM radio station that you would be able to hear in your car.

I've tried, but it won't let me choose what to play it with - it just says "unsupported file type" If someone knows how to do this, that would be awesome!

What phones are you using? I know with an iPhone, you should be able to click the listen.pls and it should load up and play as long as you have reception.

I would need to double check the Android phone though.
