I voted B, it clogs up the chat and can make it difficult to Admin. A message letting people know it can be toggled on would be fine with me, but I do not agree with it being on by default.

Honestly don't think my chat log clogging up is such a big of an issue,
and even less so when you have the ability to turn HLx off.

I think HLx is a plus to servers, and something we'd like to show off to new players, as long as they're aware that it is something that they can turn off, I don't think it will be such a big issue to have it on by default, and I'd rather have it that way than the other way around.

I think if it prompts players every so often of how to turn it off then there shouldn't be a problem. Also, though all but one of our servers say that we have HLstatsX, I don't think it can hurt to have it in server. Unless someone is really destroying the entire other team, your chat shouldn't get loaded.

Off by Default. I hypothesize there are more players who DON'T use/want/care about it than do, and that is really the purpose of the "default" right?
