Desura and Indiegames.com have banded together to create Indie Royale, a digital distribution site that takes inspiration from previous indie events like the Humble Bundle.
Basically, Indie Royale puts out a bundle of indie games and starts it at a low starting price to get all of the games. You then can pick what OS you have and redeem the keys on Steam (If the games are listed on it), Desura (same as Steam), or just download it outright.
Early-adopters are guaranteed the best prices, but that also ups the minimum price for everyone else that hasn't purchased yet.
There is a way to get the price back down, however. Pay more than the minimum. For example, the launch bundle is currently around $2.58. With every purchase, that amount goes up. People can pay more than this amount though. There are a few milestones that can be hit if one pays up to (or over) that amount. Once a milestone is hit, it will cause the minimum price of the bundle to go back down a specific amount; therefore making it cheaper for everyone.
This, of course is completely your own choice and you can pay what you want as long as it's the minimum that is slowly creeping higher.
I advise anyone that looks at indie games to sign up for their email updates so that you can check frequently and be notified of deals to ensure that you can get bundles you may like at either a great price or whatever price you deem sufficient.
Cheers all.
