Help!

Yesterday i had no issues playing BF3, I played it all day. Today, ever since i updated my game, I'm able to join games, but after a minute I've gotten two messages. The first being; "server disconnect, you were kicked by an admin". or; "server disconnect, you were disconnected from the server." Punkbuster is installed and up to date, and the game is up to date. Any thoughts??

Hey Zimmy,

I am having the same issue. I spoke with PunkBuster support and also searched the battlelog forums and there has been a patch released server side to fix this error, so all we need to do is wait for leadership to update the servers. I have no idea on when they are going to do this.

You can also try the following (advised by PB support):

Note #2: Please start pbsvc.exe and run through the uninstall process. After that, run it again and run through the install process. Make sure it uninstalls/installs correctly. Reboot the computer and then try playing again. Vista (and above) users need to start it explicitly with admin rights.

Please make sure you allow the service files in security software like virus scanners and/or firewalls. You will need to allow/unblock the services PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe from your "C:Windowssystem32" folder (or "C:WindowsSysWOW64" on 64bit systems). In case of doubt, manually add both to your firewall's allow list. After the installation process you will only find PnkBstrA, so just make sure this process file is not blocked. Then try playing on a PB enabled server, in case of a kick, check if PnkBstrB was created and unblock it too.

Even following the above note by PB support, it is still kicking me but as I stated above, it's a server side issue and needs to be corrected by leadership. This might work for you, so let me know if it works.

I have also been getting this issue, I find it weird some players are not getting it while others are. I am currently re-downloading BF3 through origin and checked save game installer this time so I do not have to re-download the game ever again to re-install.
