First of all, know this is not a hate thread. I simply want to express my opinions on teamstacking. I just played 7-10 rounds of rush, and one team won 5-8 of them. I was on the losing side, which was quite uncoordinated, and granted, I'll admit I got a little upset. However, a number of eGO members (I'll leave you unnamed, but you know who you are [I'm not including those who were assigned that team when they joined, but you still could have switched to our team]), switched over to the winning side when slots became open or else left the server. Usually the teams were 16 on 12-14; I asked multiple times in Ventrilo for some help on my team. Repeatedly I got laughs, and when I hit the breaking point I said, "Would anyone like to stop laughing and be a benefit to the server by evening the teams?" It was frustrating because no one on my team stayed more than two games, which is detrimental to our reputation and recruiting efforts. Essentially, there's nothing wrong with wanting to win, its normal, however I find no fun on either side of a crushing win or defeat (especially the latter). I'd simply like to ask for you to please show more consideration to the organization, its goals, and other members in the future.

I agree PBJ...and there has already been a thread about this in the eGO private forums. Hopefully it will get dealt with accordingly.

Sorry you had a bad experience in our OWN servers, I myself and everyone in eGO know that this is not acceptable.

If you are an O you already know my feelings about this and now I will just quote my message to the Os because it essentially applies to everyone now that this thread has been made.

...Balance teams to compensate for "stacking".
You can balance ONLY YOURSELF to another team if you feel it will make a difference. The game will balance itself eventually due to people leaving and joining the game, auto-assignments, etc. Admins should never move other players in an attempt to re-balance teams - any admin caught doing this will be punished. In reality this drives players away from the game faster than losing repeatedly.

Team/Clan Stacking - Is strictly against the rules, as with all eGO games, keep admins and players evenly balanced between the teams.

I really shouldn't have to quote two different places (there are more) where this rule is stated. A thread about this comes up every few months and it is frustrating because CLAN STACKING HAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE AGAINST eGO RULES! As admins you should know this. Right now is the WORST POSSIBLE time to clan stack. Clan stacking now means we get a bad reputation among the whole BF3 community for clan stacking (which we shouldn't get) and that means people don't come to our servers. If people don't come back to our servers then we have no recruits and our servers sit empty. If our servers are empty we lose them and I will be very very sad and angry.

Next time this happens I want names sent to me in a PM.

TL; DR: Do not clan stack or you will be talking to me and I won't be happy. I'm already not happy that there is ALREADY a post about this.

The thing that really pisses me off?

I asked multiple times in Ventrilo for some help on my team. Repeatedly I got laughs, and when I hit the breaking point I said, "Would anyone like to stop laughing and be a benefit to the server by evening the teams?"

If you are laughing at our members and you are a member you will not be a happy camper.

This. And well said PBJ. Wish I could've been there to help out.

Yeah I agree shortstuff. When I read that, it really bugged me that another member of eGO would laugh when asked to switch. As you stated above, everyone knows the rules about team stacking and is totally un-called for.

People need to pay more attention to the chat log and scoreboard so they can correctly admin the servers and switch teams if they need to. The only time I noticed the teams were unbalanced I moved to the losing team to help. It's surprising that more people don't jump up and help out where it's needed. It's not that hard to pay attention to things like the chatbox while you're playing and people really need to work on it.

It actually is kind of hard to pay attention to the chatbox...when you're in the heat of things that is. I've never noticed team stacking since I usually play 64 conquest, which is like 58/64 pubs. As far as admining, I never got to actually use admin commands during BC2, but I already had to use them like 3-4 times today during only 2 games.

Wow.. what a shame. Those members definitely need to look in the mirror and do what's right. How can we expect pubs to obey the rules if we don't obey our own? Very disappointed to see stuff like this.

I sometimes enjoy being the punching bag for other eGO members. I probably end up by myself on the opposite team cause I tend to TK quite a bit with my buddabudda gun. (wink wink, Sin)

We really should try to even out the teams(not necessarily player count wise but skill wise) sometimes though.

I fully admit to being an average (at best) player. But I have seen this happen often. Heck, one day after 10 straight losses, I did it myself. My W / L ratio is appalling, and even if I play my brains out, it appears I will usually be on the losing end.

But the switching by any player from losing to winning squad, yeah, that's not cool.

It's all situational for me, if the team is down 3+ people then I'll try to switch. I wasn't there for this and my personal opinions are if a eGO member is asking for help I jump at trying to help out. I have switched to the winning team before, we all have but the only times I do it is when the losing team has more people then the winning.

Admin, team balancing, ect... keep the servers how we all want them to be, fun and punk free.

Trust me, there's been multiple dropbox posts that even i know of about this and leadership is fully aware of it.

Shorty, if you wanna drop in some comments from my DB post, feel free to, it's sickening the amount of disrespect you get when you ask people to swap sides on vent and only get laughed at/mocked for it.

I agree panda...I hope those who were laughing in vent get dealt with and see this is not an acceptable behavior.

Theres Clan stacking, then theres "skill" stacking and Maybe one team just works better with eachother. Maybe the attacking team shouldnt be 90% snipers lol

But the part that should not happen no matter what the stacking is is the laughing and jeering at another member. That is 100% unacceptable and I am furious that it is happening.

Feel's like we are getting yelled at for playing with our friends on one team and doing good while playing with them. What's the fun of the game if we cant even play the game with the people who we want to play with, if people are just going to complain about it. We are eGO members, yes just because that slaps a tag on us, doesnt mean that pubs arnt players of equal value.

I was there when PBJ made this thread and the games he was talking about, the teams were fine.

When teams are stacked and have the advantage, it doesnt make it fun for eGO members or other people who join our servers. Thus in turn making people not want to come back and play in our servers cause of clan stacking, leaving our servers empty or barely filled.

Ive played in other servers for BF3 and have left that said server cause of clan stacking.

We as eGO members all agreed to the rules when signing up...its not complaining bleb, ITS THE RULES!

No where did anyone say that you couldn't play with your friends but there is a distinct difference between you are your friends who are all in vent together switching to the winning team to all be together and switching to the losing team to all be together. Yes we all want to win but it can be just as fun to fight really hard with your friends and lose as is to win.

So if you are playing with friends and end up on different teams have some presence of mind to switch to the team that might need some help. Two teams of near even skill and communication=very fun games hence why scrims are so fun.
