This has absolutely nothing to do with the clan, or with gaming, which is why I'm putting it in the off-topic forum haha. But just over a year ago, I got discharged from the US Army because I hurt my back while in basic training. The past month or 2, and especially today, I have been thinking very heavily on trying to go to the doctor and get my back cleared so I can try to re-enlist... but I'm not sure if I want to go through all the BS of that just so I can, very likely, deal with the disappointment of having them tell me no because I have already been discharged once for an injury. I haven't had any issues with my back in 8 or 9 months, so I know that it would be able to take it, but the doctors for the military really don't care about that lol. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wont kill you to try they might allow you back. But also they could be saving you from a greater back injury
I'd say go and see if they will allow you back

I e-mailed my old recruiter for the National Guard and also one for Active Duty, so I'll see how it goes lol. See who can give me the better deal =P

well, my first suggestion is to go to a VA medical center and have x-rays done. That way, if they try to deny you, show them the proof that your back has healed. If it has infact not healed... I would request a meeting with a Disability councelor. The human spine and its tendons, and muscles are prone to injuries that cant be seen. They can also flare up, as mine does, whenever it wants to.

That's a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I'll see if I can get ahold of a VA hospital and get that done.
