It's Thanksgiving what are you thankful for?

It's November 2011 and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. I began thinking what are you thankful for ? Is thanksgiving just another holiday, or is there some thing more? I think there is something more. What i am thankful for. Well, I am truly blessed to be married to a wondeful wife for 27 years. In that 27 years, we were again blessed with the birth of my son. That was 24 years ago. we both have watched my son grow up and get married and follow his dream to be a Firefighter. He has blessed us with two beautiful grand children, which we get to spoil. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the many positive things that occur in life. Time to be with family and close friends. Time to be thankful for what God has provided for us.Do something special this thanksgiving, donate to your local charity or local food bank. Doing so will help the many people in need. Let us take the time to remember our troops fighting off in distant lands. Hey how about invite a single serviceman or servicewomen to your home for the day. I can remember how a friend's mom took me in, and boy she could cook. ( yum Home Cooking ) her son was my bestman in my wedding. These are some of things i am thankful for.
