GunGame maybe?

I was just thinking that I havent played GunGame in a while because every server I go into always people being Trolls.I was just wondering if anyone would consider doing a eGO GG server cuz I know I would be on there alot.Have always liked gg just not the people playing on the servers,just a thought.
 
We just got Italy... but before GG would be surf. Reason being surf is just cool.
 
 
Yeah, like Sequel said. Then there's the usual response: Use the dropbox to make server suggestions and send your request directly to leadership.
 
gungame seems like a nice thing to have but it wont last but any how drop box next time
 
so heres the idea, get a new server ok. Claim you have lots of support for the server from yourself and various other people. Then you check the server listing, that server is empty all the time, much like that of all the previous "new" servers that we have tried. You realize that no one is on that server and much rather not join it to try to boost its activity. Soon you hop on CSS a few weeks later only to see that the server that you asked for and wanted to support fully which you never actually did, has been removed. You go on with your life and hop onto the forums and see some one suggesting the same thing you did about a month ago. People go on to say they will support it, but they never actually do. I continue to troll said threads because people obviously cant learn from the past and have no intentions of improving, and the world keeps on rotating on its axis and revolving around the sun. GG
 
We will never have another surf server. We had one, it got 3 people at its peak, it averaged 2 players. So surf will only happen for events, it's not popular enough to have a dedicated server. Gun game we have tried but it died down after a while anyways.

We got Italy (again) and its barely holding its own. So before we get new servers, we want to see current ones full enough to justify another server.
 
EDIT: GunGame is quite popular, only problem is like already mentioned, it just needs to be advertised and actually have people playing

Another thought: What about perhaps changing Italy to Rotation? Meaning all of the default DE & CS maps?

Please explain how GG is popular, do you have some statistics for me to prove your claim. Because we have had one in the past and it failed miserably.

I'd post specifics, but don't want to be accused even to the slightest of advertising, so just simply do this:

Steam - Servers - Change Filters - in the Map section, put "gg" w/o quotes.

Before I joined eGO, I would often play on a gungame server or two, and they really filled up fast.

But it's like I said: The only thing any new server really needs is just advertisement and players willing to join and play often...and follow rules, of course. ;)
 
Both GG and Surf would bring a lot more to eGO but surf would have to come first.
 
I hate to mention this, but people who play on gun game servers prefer the Dogz, .Bad, or Unified Gamers servers. I don't think eGO can replicate those numbers or entice those players to come over.

Maybe when CS:GO comes out we can try to establish a gun game server then\.
 
well lets be real most surf servers are empty most all days unless its 24/7 deathmatch which is boring,but besides that I play jail/office every day and bring people there to help fill the servers.I was on a GG server last night at 2am and it had 24ppl in it and other servers with 10-14 ppl on it,its a proven fact that alot of people play gungame over surf.Surf gets boring going around the map over and over every round with no real goal,but GunGame you are trying to kill the fastest so you can win so it never gets boring for most.
 
and far as cs_italy goes I never really like playing it because well cs_italy sucks to be honest.If it was de_nuke or somethin like cs_compound I would be more inclined to play it,but It was just a suggestion I like office and jail anyways.Though zombie escape map is fun and I could play that for hours also.
 
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I think this is still valid.

If there's talk of cutting the dust2 server player cap, maybe that could make room for a nice gungame server. I vote for this.

I vouch for the bump. Seeing as dust2 needs a boost and Italy and rising in server stats. I think A gun game server can be a viable choice.
