Normal day on flash

I was able to get a max of 14 people on this evening for about an hour, most of the pubs that were there I remember from when Flash was alive. Which shows that there are people still out there with Flash in their favorites.

Flash is the favorite but not for long periods of time. They may join since it has some people but it will never just stay running all the time.

I think this is a better way to show what I am trying to point out. These are DoD:S server rankings and what maps are on these servers. Flash is no where in the top 250. I just do not think there is the player base for Flash like there is for other maps. Anzio should be a priority it is currently 222 and could move way up.

I think it was before your time here by just a little, but flash use to be in the 70-80 range in rank. Then we lost key memebers for the server.

Actually the server use to have people on it everyday and it was full or 75% filled. The only time i saw flash not have people on were in the early mornings.

No Dutch, I was here as a member at the tail end of it and know what you are referring to and was also here prior to being a member throughout that time.

My point was simply that there isn't evidence to suggest that Flash would 'rise again' where as there is ample evidence to suggest we could push Anzio and Donner higher. This is my last post in this thread, I am not trying to ruin or derail your efforts.

I'd hate to see flash go. I started on that map. Fubar recruited me on that map. Its a server i grew to love. This, of course, was back when the only guns i could use were the BAR and the Thompson. Back then i was absolutely terrible at this game (still sorta am) and i loved this map because of how many kills i could get, even though it was very few since i was starting out and didn't know the tricks of this game yet. But eventually i got decently good with all the guns on both teams, and saw Flash as a map that was nothing but grenade spam but that's only on the original version. The other versions of Flash i loved, because it opened up doors that were not available in the original map. They allowed more rifle spots, less assult pathways, and more tactical placements to be made. I used to love this map but now i find it rather irritating to say the least. I've just...lost Flash as a good map in my opinion. I'm going to agree with Sumac and the others here on this one.

I really loved flash back then because it was full in the evenings at my place. Now its kinda dead, but often we get it started, much like setting an occasional fart aflame

I wouldn't give up flash, unless you took it out of my cold, dead hands >.<
