So what happen to the group? Flash has yet to get people in it and day by day the rank of it goes down even more. Flash is 308 in rank and it should not be. It should be in its 80's like i was use to. Please note even though i have disappeared for the most part do not let that stop you from helping out flash. All you need to do is wait about 5-10 minutes and you get a couple of people because the old players still want on the map. I'm not asking for much, I want people in that map! Donner, strand, AvA and even kalt does not need constant filling. The focus should be Anzio and flash but mostly flash. Heck i have not even seen a "Help fill Flash" Message in a long time. Step it up edgegamers, no need for any server, but the events server to be over at least 150. So hop in on flash and stop considering it dead because it is very much alive. just need to get it working. Hopefully my Christmas surprise will help out ole flash.

Yea that DoD Rangers kinda fell by the waist side it looks like. My suggestion would be to do what you guys have been doing if you want to get people in just PM an advisor to make an announcement. In order to get any pubbers in though it would have to be a daily think for quite a while. I would like to see that happen with Anzio personally, but any move up in rankings when it's not at the cost of another is great.

the problem I see isnt that the server is empty. What I see is school/work and the holidays. Not many of us want to sit in a server and wait for the party to start. Alot of us have limited time to play. So its not a matter of people to populate the server. It is people want to play in a server that they dont have to populate, and wait and waste the game time they have.

since we like competitions in DOD:S.. why dont we run a Scouting drive from now till Christmas. Top 3 recruiters on Flash get a Steam game of their choice, and 1st place gets 1 month dedicated supporter.. 2nd gets dedicated light.. and all 3 get a shiney new DOD:S pin, Flash Recruiter.

I guarantee that in that span of time, the Flash server will move up by atleast 100 slots. And, we'll have a new and dedicated Flash crew.

I think that is a very good idea to try and get the server more populated.

flash is good i think many of us being still in school have been swamped the past few weeks tilll the holidays to finish projects and stuff. I know i have been and my schools terrible connection to steam doesnt help me out either in this situation either.

The Rangers are not dead, its a group effort, you guys want to start up a server, hit myself or Greenlight Terror up we will post an announcement to help fill the server.

We also need more member to help commit to filling up these servers. Get other people to help join the group so that when we send out announcements people actually show up to help play in the servers. Also try getting some pub players that may be on your friends list to join the server. We can fill it with our members every day, but if the pub players don't come fill it, we are just wasting our time. Thats Anzio's biggest problem is getting the pubs to stick with it after we all leave for the day.

Talk in game with the pubs, make it fun for everyone. Kalt's success since its rebirth is completely attributed to the public players that continue to come back every evening. Sure it sits empty most of the day, but from 5pm EST till well after midnight, it stays full and the majority of players are pubs. If you can't get a public following there is really no need to try and fill a server, cause it will only stay full while we are in it.

Possibly... but recruiting on the server would help us get a new baseline of Pubs. I agree, I would love to see Flash back to its glory. I started playing on our Flash server.. thats what drew me into eGO.

Perhaps run an Assualt Night on Flash.
