css black/gray weapons?

Well my weapons seam to have gone all black and gray like some textures are missing. I have tryed to install the game agein but it dident work.
Any suggestions?

Ok, what you probably have is
1. skins on your guns
2. some odd error

To fix this navigate to your cstrike folder and delete it. Then you join a new server such as eGO dust1 and it will give you a new cstrike folder. Then your problem should be fixed. If it isn't find me in vent, hope this helps.

Nope dident help.
Some servers they are totaly black and some they have only black and gray colours
only red stuff in console is ConVarRef sm_spray_version doesn't point to an existing ConVar
ConVarRef sb_close_browser_on_connect doesn't point to an existing ConVar

That's what I'm thinking too, I've never seen an issue like this before. Not sure if it will help, but what is your video card? Have you updated drivers for it? *insert generic tech help question :facewall:*

I have a ATI Radeon Xpress Series 1100
And when i tryed to uppdate it... it sayed it was the newest version.
Downloaded ATI Catalyst but that dident help.

I think its the server that does that.

TTK have you tried to download a pack that has the original skins in it? That could help.

umm Did U try to restart your comp, Or Deleteing and reinstallling css? or it also can just be server

There does not seem to be anything i can do... o well at least i can keep playing.

I think it's just your graphics card causing some minor issues, it's nothing too worry about if you have the most up too date drivers for your card. But I'd say try defragging and verifying cache first for CS:S (You can do this by right clicking on CS:S and going too properties). And last resort I can think of is uninstalling and then reinstalling CS:S.

Is that an after market card? Or is it built in/ laptop if it's after market try removing it and then try CSS for a round and see how it works.
