I remember playing the zDoom mod with and against my brothers at home.

I was too young for PC computer games in the early 90's. My first FPS game of substance was goldeneye on the N64. That game is single-handedly responsible for my love of video gaming in general. It is also responsible for quite a number of days where I skipped elementary school

For those of you complaining about Goldeneye 007 not being in the list it's because they stated EARLY 90's. Goldeneye 007 wasn't released until 1997, so does not qualify. I wish it was all of the 90's as well though because I would have picked Unreal Tournament as my favorite of the decade, but it didn't come out till 1999, so does not qualify as well. Of the ones listed, Wolfenstein 3D was the first I played, but I had to go with DOOM because that's the one that really got me hooked and made the genre sky rocket with gamers.

Definitely QUAKE !!!
Quake 1.. and 3 are the best..
I can remember countless hours of quake... The sounds are so memorable.
Quake is the reason why so many people cared so much about graphics cards.
GLQUAKE!!! loved my voodoo cards.

What about Mac games !!!! I used to play bungie's Marathon back then. It's one of the best fps I've ever played.
