Can anyone run ultra without it crashing???

Every time I try to run bf3 on Ultra it crashes after 10 minutes, Anyone know how to stop this without bumming down the graphics?

I am running on ultra with a Sapphire radeon hd 5870 2gb eyefinity 6. I have been runnin on ultra since launch. But i also have a fairly fresh install of win 7 64 ultimate. With latest drivers. Also i have been able to run BF3 eminimal issues. But i also am running my fans @ 100% fan speed.

What kind of cpu cooler you running? Is it mounted via a backplate or intel's. Sorry excuse o cooler clips.
Is the inside of your case fairly clean or is it a dust bunny jungle inside.

What kind of case do you have? How many fans? Which ones are intake? Which ones are exhaust?

Monster rig there.

Might be the 6990s. Crossfire of dual GPUs (god that must be hot and loud) has been known to be a problem.

Does it run on Ultra with a single 6990?

Yeah I use the same graphics card as baneling and the only time I will crash is if I'm running multiple programs in the background or if they server indead crashes. It could be the 6990's seeing as you really shouldn't need two of them to run the game on ultra

I like 100 fps on ultra

That 100Fps on ultra may cost you being able to play. Play at 100 frames and crash all the time or play at 80 frames and being able to actually play.

i run on ultra with 2 6970's and get around 80-120 fps depending where i am on the map...the only thing i can say is wipe out all the video drivers and re-install them. ATI and Nvidia haven't really had the best drivers for crossfire/sli on BF3.. they will get it right eventually.:laugh:

you people with single cards are running on ultra? doubt, it unless its lower resolution or your getting 30-50 fps... just cant happen

I don't have any issues when I run it on ultra, but then again, I normally run it on low-medium anyways...

IF I had to make a guess, I'd say it's something not getting along with BF3/Battlelog/Origin in your background, as for what I have no idea where to start.

I am running a single 6970 on ultra at a nice 70 fps without it getting too hot and shit. But uhh make sure that your 2 graphics cards are both getting enough air because i know that if you dont have a gap in between the two cards that it can crash from overheating

interesting 70fps, when i have 2 and average about 90 throughout the entire map.. must be these crappy drivers for xfire

they are at 940 core and 1400 memory... 940 is about all the core has on one of the cards not sure about the other but i know it will go further...and memory is just there because ive read several places that after a certain point overclocking the memory doesnt do anything with these cards

ps they are watercooled never get pasted 45*c
