Upgrading current computer.

Well thanks to a payoff from my insurance company for a car wreck and medical bills, I have around 1300 extra to upgrade my current build.

It is fairly new. I built it based on the current technologies and built a moderate priced power PC. But now i have the ability to REALLY let loose.

I am thinking about making my current OS drive into a second drive for my steam folder. (YEAH its that big.) And getting this SSD.

Little pricy but it has the best rating out of all of the SSDs.

I am thinking about adding a new vidja card. (yes I have to say vidja is funny to me.) Probably just 3 more of the one I have, and upgrading the PSU to this beast.

Those particular 6870s only support 2 way crossfire.

If you want to use more than 2, i would look into a 6870 X2:

you can crossfire that with a single 6870 for 3-way crossfire.

Lol so thats why they were 50 dollars cheaper at the time... OK I might forgo the quad Xfire and just put in some surround sound. I use my computer as my main tv as well. Seeing as I have a 37 inch tv as my main monitor. (went with 37 over a 40 because this one was an open box and half the price. 349.99 for a samsung 37 led 120hz.)

What kind of sound card would you recommend that could support a 5.1, 7.1 or 7.2 surround sound system?
