I have recently gotten complaints from WhiteMilk that people have been calling him WhiteMike. His forum name was screwed up, along with his in game names. He can't get it working correctly, but that is no reason to tease him. I will be dealing with anyone who mistakenly refers to him as WhiteMike from here on out. His name is WhiteMilk people, WhiteMilk. Get it right!

At what point is calling somebody, whose name everywhere says "mike", "mike", something we need to specifically address in its own thread as being teasing? Maybe there are some jerks who know better who are pushing it, but for those of us who have no idea who he is, this is very, "Mmmmmmmmkayyyyyy...thanks for sharing?" sorta thing, and you're going to continue to have problems since a large percentage of our members don't check the forums regularly.

I'm not condoning the teasing, just saying that we've all seen countless threads being deemed "not thread-worthy" in the past that said more than this.

We're not here to police "Friendly-Banter" Threads. If its inappropriate for our forums, then yes, we will modify/remove as necessary. However, this is obviously friendly-banter as whitemike even responded himself.

What would eGO be if we regulated how/when people can joke around and have fun? We're not here to do that. These forums are meant for fun, enjoyment, and to be informative. Moreover, I'm not sure what is deemed "thread-worthy" to you, however, we are taking a more conscious effort to let people enjoy themselves on the forums.
