I have been lieing about my age. Most of you are probably wondering "So that's why he sounds so young!". But I just feel that I do not want to be in eGO and having to act 3 years older than I truly am. I just couldn't hold in this secret anymore and I understand the concequinces on my behavior. All I got to say now is that any punshiment you make for me I will let be done since I have lied to all. I am sorry for this lie it's just that people usually expect less out of a 10 year old than a 13 year old and I am tired of being pushed around because of my age. I am once again sorry for this lie that I having been telling for months now. Please forgive me for this.

It is not about your age my friend, it is about maturity. When I used to run a clan I had a frekaing 8 yr old as one of my co-leaders (known as advisors/house leaders here). I could care less if a person was young, old, fat, skinny; just as long as they are mature and responsible. I wouldnt worry about it bro, I know many that went by that notice.

Lying is never the right thing to do. In most cases there are serious consequences when the truth comes out and you are exposed. You however have admitted your mistake and are willing to accept whatever consequences that follow without argument. My hat comes off to you and your parents for raising an outstanding young man.

Well, maybe it wasn't good that you lied, but afterall it's more up your matture.. And i think i remember that some 6 year old guy joined us, and there was no problem in doing that..

I don't think age should really ever be an issue. If this should be taken up with anyone, it should be with JohnT and other Council members. I personally do not think there will be a problem since there was a six year old that joined =(eGO)= from my knowledge. I agree with above statements that maturity is the most important aspect of being in a clan. Yeah, so there is a formality addressing the age factor. I say just keep doing what you're doing and you will be fine.

On another note, I would say don't lie anymore. There is no need to lie. It is better to tell the truth than to lie. I'm glad you finally decided to do so.

same thing here, I'm 15 and i sound younger so people pick on me.........it DOES feel bad for those who don't know about it, but i tend to live with it, when someone tells me, (sorry about the language), "Drop some balls kid!, i don't say anything except, "you must feel big talking like that to someone WAY younger than you", they say sorry and we move on..........so death shot, if someone picks on you just blank it out, act like they're the ones who are the kid, and if you have respect for those younger than you then you should have NO problem!

Although I am pretty much echoing everyone at this point, I have to agree. Lying is never the right thing to do, but in your admittance of your fault and acceptance of any punishment for the act shows maturity some adults never even grasp the concept of. I commend you for your maturity and your bravery, and I am more honored to have someone like you in the same clan as me.

We have some members in eGO who are 50+ I believe?
In the Marines we have a tradition on the Marine Corps Birthday that the youngest Marine gets to cut the cake with the oldest Marine. Death Shot as the youngest eGO if we ever have a cake cutting ceremony, I nominate you to cut!
