Hello Everyone! I am sure that you have all already read the first DoD Interview where I interviewed Meg. If not you should go check it out. Anyways here is the 2nd one, and for this one I am going to be interviewing... SUMAC!!
Hello Sumac How are you doing today?
Fantastic, yourself?
I am doing Great
My First question is where and how did you find eGO?
I found eGO through the Donner server years ago with characters like Razzle, Redbud Shankers and others. Took me a few years to join up but I finally did, and I haven’t regretted it yet.
What is your favorite Class/Weapon in DoD?
Support is easily my favorite class, then Sniper, but I have been trying to get better at using the rocket and rifles. I need lots of work with them.
What is your best realism story?
Too many to count, but the one that comes most readily to mind was on Kalt. We knew the enemy was in the sewers near our first waiting for the round to start. They were planning to toss grenades up as we had to catch people near spawn. I primed a nade 3 seconds before the start of the round and dropped it in just before it went live. The second the round began Stormy and Dr.Compton left us for a better place courtesy of that nade. Was I out of spawn at the time? Sure. Should I have DQed myself? Probably. Was it worth it? Absolutely and I would do it again.
Who do you enjoy killing the most in DoD?
Not sure that I have a favorite, if I had to pick, maybe Xante. We have a little battle going.
Who do you enjoy gaming with the most?
Probably Dutch because when I kill someone with Dutch I know that I did all the work. I enjoy playing with all the folks that hang out in Ventrilo. I wish more members would spend time there; it makes the games more enjoyable when we can banter back and forth.
I understand that you have a HUGE Music collection, but I have to ask how many songs do you have if you had to take a guess?
I take the fifth. It’s a lot, Blue recently introduced me to the wonders of FLAC audio so I have been grabbing a lot of that recently and am up to around 8,000 songs in FLAC. Without having my drives here at the moment I would guess the rest is somewhere between 100,000 and 120,000 songs. I also have 400+ audio books (around 300 or so are read by a really stuffy sounding British gentleman), hundreds of movies and thousands of TV show episodes. It’s a compulsion what can I say. I used to have an old coworker whose former life was DJing and he got me started with around 40-50,000.
What is your favorite type of music?
Mostly Rock/Jazz/Metal/Bluegrass ect. Anything but rap or country. Although I will make an exception for Beastie Boys and Ozomatli.
And my last question is, what is the best part of eGO in your eyes?
I’m sure everyone feels this way, the members. The events and the games are nice, but really it’s the members that keep me here.
Well that is the end of the second DoD weekly interview. Is there anything else you would like to say Sumac?
Get in Ventrilo and join us for events.

I listen to you guys in Vent and it is hilarious sometimes. I guess a trip to Wally World should be in order.
