Military Thank You Letter

My grandfater was in World War II, and he was shot in the shoulder, bounced off his bone, down to his hip. Today, from hip down, he is paralized. He lives in Nevada, helthy, but in a wheelchair, and has been since his early 20's. Some soldiers will not be comming home for the holidays, and here is something to show my appriceation...

Thank you to all the brave men and women who sacrifice so much for our country! We are proud of you, your selflessness and bravery will never be forgotten! Stand strong, and God Bless!

Everyday we remember the sacrifices that are being made on our behalf, so that we can remain free and safe from those who would wish to do us harm. We thank you now and always .

Thanks for the many sacrifices you make daily to protect us. We care - we know you are there. You are in my prayers.

Just want to let it be heard, for all of those serving or having served, thank you!

Thank you for defending, and and fighting for our country and keeping us safe. God Bless you all!

We think of what it means to be free and what it takes to maintain that freedom. We thank you for your service, your dedication and the sacrifice you and your families have made on behalf of us, our country and for Freedom.

It would be nice to hear some of your storys showing your appriceation to the military.

I would like to appreciate soldiers too, I currently live in South Korea(I was born here but I was in US for 5 years) and as many of you guys know, there was a Korean war about 60 years ago, and I'm gratefully thankful for all of veteran who was in all the wars, you saved so many people's life in so many ways.
I just hope there is no war in a future(Although there is some danger right now in Korea because leader of North Korea has died[Not discussing any political stuffs)
To all soldiers who's serving and has served any countries, you guys are the real heros!

Im Lebanese and since Lebanon was conquered by France back then, my grandpa (RIP) fought with France in WW2. I also lived in the Lebanon 2006 war and the terrorist attack in lebanon 2007 and survived. I appreciate the lebanese soldiers who fought to keep us safe.

Great post Root Beer! I have several friends who will not be home for the holidays. I am thankful for their sacrifice as well as the sacrifice of so many others, past and present!

When I signed up for the Marines in '06 and told my best friend after getting off the bus that I was joining and he turned and asked me,
"Why do you want to go and die?"
That moment I will never forget because that was the day I lost a friend, a person I had known for almost 9 years and when he said that I socked him in the mouth and told him I was joining to do my country a service and pay it back for everything it has given me and you should too. In March '07 I had 2 Grand Mal seizures and when that recruiter came to my door saying I couldn't join due to me being diagnosed as epileptic I was crushed. The day my friend heard I couldn't join because of my medical condition he told me to meet him at the recruiter's office across from our high school and then and there he signed up for the Nevada National Guard on my behalf. I can't begin to tell how heartfelt that was that my best friend went and signed up to do a service I won't have a chance to do for our Country.

I thank each and every person who has served their country no matter the situation because they did a duty to their country and gave back what the men and women before them have given their life's for, honor and above all else, their country.

Thank you men and women of the United States Military

Here in Mexico the military and navi forces fight the drug cartel empires that are destroying my homeland from within.

Thanks to them all for such priceless sacrifice.
