Screen capture woes

On a minecraft server I admin on people have been raiding other players that forget to protect their chests. As a trap I installed dynamic map on the server a put a chest on the map people will be able to take from. I need a program that can screen capture on a timer, only the window that has the dynamic map in it. If I am playing minecraft, and it overlaps the Dynamic map screen, it would need to still only capture the Dynamic map screen. Any ideas for programs?

The server that you're talking about, is it Windows or Linux?
