You guys are really doing awesome. The server went up about 150 more ranks today despite the unexpected crashes, lag issues and restarts that we endured. PLEASE keep idling and filling this up. This thing is going to be something big really soon.

Makes me so happy to see Valve Map's ranking go up.
By the way, has the idea of having Sudden Death on Valve Maps been discussed? Maybe it can help with that issue of when a team caps during overtime and doesn't get the additional time? (I know that happened in Steel, and I think it might have happened in another map. I'm not a 100% sure though.)

I would refrain from playing badlands more than once a day, since everybody likes to be a tryhard on that map. The pubs are raging when that happens, and the server should not be emptying out as it grows in popularity. We also need to start filling it earlier in the day. I know you guys are back at school again, but coming online in the early afternoon for just 15 minutes would help.
I find its not just Badlands. I play this game to goof off, not tryhard. If I wanted to tryhard I'd play a different game. That's usually what makes me stop playing. Its hard to have fun whenever everyone else is playing like its the world finals of TF2, or playing Spy/Heavy.

So we finally broke the 1000s ranks today, making it to about 995. We're getting into the competitive server market here, so we need more idling at night. Also, we have to prevent our server from emptying during the day. Please do not play badlands more than once every few hours, and try to prevent the teams from being stacked by auto assigning or switching over if one team is getting rolled.
If we do these things we'll be good to go for the next hundred ranks. If we can be at rank 895 by the end of January then we'll have done something good.

Okay, so, I was up until 5:00 A.M. tonight 'cause I'm a noob (have to be up in 3 hours), and having 6 people spectating the server kept it full to half full (15 people) until now. Honestly, if we do this nightly everything will go great. AND playing Dustbowl around 2:00 A.M., when people usually start clearing out, helps refill the server for the night hours.

I would say under 900 would be realistic. Foundry is arguably more full than Valve Maps on certain occasions, and it has been falling in rank for a few days...
Idling at night and not letting it empty during the day will help us push past the 900s.

Looks like you could be right.
We went up more rankings last night than in the past week, and we only had the server full for about 8 hours, as opposed to last weekend when it was mostly full for almost 14 hours.
In about one day we could be breaking through to the 800s, so getting to the 700s might not be impossible for the end of the month if we continue at this rate.
Unfortunately the rank fell for the first time last night, not by much but it's still noteworthy to mention. Again, to prevent the server from dying refrain from playing badlands, or multiple maps over and over again (i.e. don't play the same map more than two times every other vote).
