Getting the game.

So, I am getting Counter Strike after I get my Paycheck (I work at my dad's lawn mowing job after school) which is about enough to get CS:S.

Is there any tips I should learn to start me off on the right path. I have seen gameplay, and I have heard of this game called jail, and other stuff too.

I hope I get to meet some new people in-game, and fill up my friends list (only have 3 people on my friends list)

It was just on sale for 5 dollars a few days ago. Should have picked it up then.

I knew. But, Unfortunately, I don't have a Credit/Debit card (im on 13)

and I couldn't get a prepaid debit card, since it was too much at the time.

Also, my parents were busy, and I noticed the sale the last day, and they said they were gonna decide after a few days :/

Well, you will definitely want to take a look at the Jail Server Rule Book if you plan on playing Jail, but just hop in a server and we'll be sure to help you out.

Avoid Jail at all costs if you are planning to get good at the game and play at a competitive level. If you don't care about that and are just there to have "fun," than by all means play on Jail and minigame servers.
